Each dress we make is completely unique and styled to the bride’s taste, with your guidance, infused with our creativity and knack for perfect tailoring, you can be sure we will make the wedding dress of your dreams.
Here's what you can expect when you book a consultation:
Over the course of an hour, either virtual or in-person, we’ll discuss every aspect of your gown in detail, from fabric and fit to details and embellishments. Based on that discussion, Yemi Shoyemi will sketch some initial ideas to help you visualise your wedding dress, which is where the fun begins. When you give your approval of the sketch, we will proceed to taking your measurements, after which pattern drafting then begins.
Yemi will create a mock-up of your dress using materials known as a ‘toile’. This is fitted to a mannequin, re-shaped and manipulated to in order to map out the design, doing all these is to ensure it will fit you perfectly.
Design tweaks and alterations are a core part of our processes; we want your dress to be perfect, so we aren’t happy unless you are delighted, subsequent fittings will be with you in the dress, where Yemi will work with you to perfect the silhouette, this is to ensuring you get the perfect fit and it’s exactly as you want it. Also, you can be sure your dress will be made ready at the agreed timeframe.
